A very sweet story wrapped in extraordinary visual beauty!
Definitely worth seeing as I was invited to a screening. It's strange not to love Strange Magic. It teaches a valuable lesson that everyone deserves to be loved no matter what.Strange Magic boasts some of the most unique character design I have seen in ages, and flaunts it with gorgeous animation. The love story and characters may be a bit familiar, but this doesn't distract from the film at all. The pacing is apt, and doesn't feel rushed by any means. Despite what everyone is saying, comparing it to the likes of "Frozen" or any-other-3D-cgi-romance-flick-out-there, Strange Magic is wholly unique, and something that art lovers are sure to gawk at.This was a really good movie with a more feasible plot than I've seen in most children's films involving fairies. It's definitely better than last year's "Epic". It is still a bit cheesy at times, but most cliché's get played off as comedy. I adored this little world and, despite the mixed reviews this seems to be getting, I think George Lucas has a better mind for children's/teen's fantasy films. If you like fairies and the contrast of opposing light and dark kingdoms that clash in an interesting way, then should see this film! :)
